Product Description

Serrax Technologies‘ Automatic Weather Station (AWS) is capable of monitoring various environmental parameters. This state-of-the-art AWS comes with more than 15 sensors that are designed to measure temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, rainfall, solar radiation, and more. This device is ideal for use in meteorological, agricultural, and environmental monitoring applications.

One of the standout features of our AWS is its connectivity options. It can be connected to other devices via Pendrive, RS232, Cloud Data, or API, and R485 MODBUS. This allows users to easily transfer data from the AWS to other devices, such as computers or data loggers, for further analysis or processing. The AWS also has a built-in data logger that can store data for extended periods of time, ensuring that critical information is not lost.

The Automatic Weather Station is designed to be user-friendly and easy to operate. It has a user interface that allows users to set up the device and configure various parameters, such as the sampling interval, threshold values, and alarm settings. The AWS will periodically upload data to a cloud-based data bank at a pre-set interval selected by the user. Users can also view recent or historical values of the various parameters, either on the device itself or using the WinStat Pro software.

The WinStat Pro software provided with the AWS is Microsoft Windows compatible and provides most of the analytical functions users will need for interpreting data from the Weather Station. The software is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, even for those with little or no experience in data analysis. It allows users to plot graphs, generate reports, and perform statistical analysis on the data collected by AWS. This can be particularly useful for identifying trends or patterns in the data, which can help in making informed decisions.

One of the most impressive features of AWS is its ability to generate colored Windrose diagrams. By entering the GPS location for your site, the system will enable you to superimpose the Windrose over a Google Map of the area, making it easy to pinpoint regions that will fall downwind of a potential pollution source. This can be particularly useful for environmental monitoring applications, where it is essential to identify areas that may be affected by pollution.

The AWS also allows users to plot Diurnal Curves for most met parameters, which show a distinct diurnal trend as they are essentially driven by incoming solar energy. With Serrax’s WinStat Pro multi-parameter diurnal curves are simple to plot. This can be particularly useful for agricultural applications, where it is essential to monitor the impact of solar energy on crops.

All graphs and diagrams generated by the WinStat Pro software can be saved or printed, allowing users to share the data with colleagues or clients. The software also allows users to export data in a variety of formats, including CSV, Excel, and PDF.
