Product Description

This advanced particulate air sampling system is engineered to deliver consistent, accurate, and reliable dust measurement under demanding field conditions. The unit is enclosed in a powder-coated, sturdy aluminum cabinet that securely houses the blower, filter holder assembly, Digital Flow Controller (DFC), and all supporting hardware, ensuring durability and long service life.

At the core of the system is an electronically controlled Digital Flow Controller (DFC) that automatically maintains a constant flow rate. The DFC continuously compensates for pressure changes caused by dust loading on the filter. When dust accumulation exceeds blower capacity, the system intelligently reduces flow and performs an automatic shutdown to protect the instrument and ensure data integrity.

The sampler supports a flow rate range of 0.8 to 1.4 m³/min, with precise flow stabilization handled by the DFC. A programmable timer allows flexible operation, while the digital time totalizer (up to 9,999.99 hours) provides accurate tracking of total sampling duration, clearly displayed on the LCD.

Flow measurement is performed using a glass manometer tube, accurately graduated in m³/min and measured across a critical orifice for dependable results. For particulate separation, the system employs a cyclone-based sampling mechanism that divides dust at a D-50 cut-off of 10 microns. Particles smaller than 10 microns are collected on a filter placed in the filter holder, while larger particles are separated by centrifugal force and collected in a dedicated cup.

The filter holder, made from casted aluminum with a fine-finished rubber gasket, ensures leak-free and secure filter placement. A heavy-duty, brushless, and low-noise blower, operated via VFD at 220V AC, 1-phase, 50 Hz, enables continuous operation for at least 28 hours, making the system ideal for long-duration sampling applications.

This sampler is well-suited for ambient air monitoring, industrial pollution studies, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance monitoring.
