Product Description

PM2.5 Sampler with PM10 Monitoring Capability

The PM2.5 Sampler (APM556D) is designed for accurate monitoring of fine particulate matter in ambient air. It also measures PM10 particles, making it a reliable solution for air quality monitoring, environmental studies, industrial compliance, and regulatory applications.

The sampler uses a WINS Impactor for PM2.5 separation and a PM10 Impactor for larger particles. As a result, it delivers accurate particle classification according to recognized monitoring methods. A Dry Gas Meter (DGM) continuously measures sample volume, helping users generate dependable monitoring data and reports.

In addition, the instrument maintains a stable sampling flow rate through a precision flow control system. The built-in elapsed time indicator and time totalizer record sampling duration, allowing users to track every monitoring cycle with confidence. A supplied leak check adaptor also helps verify system performance before sampling begins.

For reliable field operation, the sampler features a low-noise, non-pulsating diaphragm vacuum pump driven by an AC motor. This design reduces maintenance requirements while providing consistent airflow during long sampling periods. The system accepts standard 47 mm filter media, making filter replacement simple and convenient.

Furthermore, the sampler comes in a rugged powder-coated metallic enclosure built for outdoor use. The complete assembly stands approximately 1.75 meters high and includes a tripod stand for stable installation at monitoring locations. It operates on a 220V, single-phase, 50Hz power supply, while a 110V, 60Hz version is available on request.

Because of its accuracy, durability, and ease of operation, the APM556D is widely used by pollution control boards, environmental consultants, research institutions, industrial facilities, laboratories, and air quality monitoring networks. It offers a dependable solution for organizations that need accurate PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter monitoring while meeting environmental monitoring requirements.
