Respirable Dust Sampler APM 560 (DFC)

Housing Cabinet: Powder-coated Sturdy Aluminium cabinet to house the Blower, Filter holder assembly Digital Flow Controller (DFC) & supporting hardware.

Digital Flow Controller (DFC): DFC will automatically maintain the flow rate constant through an Electronically controlled mechanism with a differential pressure sensor and compensate for dust load deposited on the filter. When the dust load increases beyond the capacity of the blower the flow rate will begin to decrease and the DFC will automatically be shut down if the flow rate tends to drop below a certain set flow for auto shut-off.

Flow Rate: 0.8 – 1.4 m3 /min free flow with flow stabilization by electronically controlled DFC

Programmable Timer: 0.8 – 1.4 m3 /min free flow with flow stabilization by electronically controlled DFC, 0-24 hrs (use selectable in DFC)

Time Totalizer: 0 – 9999.99 hrs (Digital Display on LCD)

Flow Measurement: Glass Manometer Tube accurately graduated directly in m3/min and measured across a critical orifice

Particulate Sampling & Separation: To separate the dust into two portions at the D-50 cut-off for 10 microns, a cyclone is utilized. Filter paper that is placed on a filter holder collects particles ranging in size from 10 microns to 0.1 microns. Under the cyclone, coarse particles (more than 10 microns) have gathered in a cup.

Filter Holder: Casted aluminum with fine-finished rubber gasket.

Heavy Duty Blower: 3-phase Brushless & Noiseless, operated through VFD at 220V AC(+/-) 20V single phase 50 Hz, supplied continuously for at least 28 hours.

Product Description

Respirable Dust Sampler APM 560 is the latest Dust sampler for monitoring Respirable Dust (PM10) using the sharp cut-off cyclone collected on the glass Microfibre filter paper. It can also be used for simultaneously monitoring gaseous pollutants like SO2, NOx, etc, using the Gaseous attachment. Total Suspended Particulate matter can also be analyzed using the Dust collected in Dust-Cup. Our offered product is precision-designed, to meet up the international standard. It can be useful for cement plants, the food processing industry, construction sites, and mining sites. This product is obtainable in technical specifications as per the wide-ranging desires of our precious clients. Our offered Respirable Dust Sampler is rigorously tested on diverse parameters to guarantee its superior performance. A Dust Sampler (RDS) instrument is designed to measure the concentration of respirable dust in the air. These instruments are commonly used in occupational health and safety monitoring, especially in industries where workers may be exposed to airborne particles that can pose respiratory hazards. Here are some benefits of using a Respirable Dust Sampler. Equipped with a high-efficiency sampling pump and specialized filters, the Dust Sampler efficiently captures fine particles suspended in the air, typically those with diameters of 10 micrometers or less. These particles, known as respirable dust, can penetrate deep into the lungs, potentially causing respiratory ailments and long-term health complications with prolonged exposure.

The sampler’s compact and portable design enables flexibility in deployment, allowing for both stationary monitoring and personal sampling to assess individual exposure levels. Its robust construction and user-friendly interface make it suitable for use by occupational health and safety professionals, researchers, and regulatory agencies alike. Data collected by this device is crucial for evaluating compliance with air quality standards, assessing workplace hazards, and implementing effective control measures to minimize dust exposure and protect workers’ health. With its precision sampling capabilities and comprehensive data analysis features, this instrument serves as an indispensable tool in safeguarding respiratory health and promoting safer working environments.
