Product Description
Serrax NDIR Methane Analyzer is a rugged, portable methane detector built for accurate field and plant-level monitoring. Powered by a non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor, it delivers reliable, repeatable methane readings across two industry-useful ranges (low % and full-scale 0–100%) with rapid response time for real-time decisions. Housed in a compact 2.5 kg body with an in-built LCD that refreshes every second, this unit combines laboratory-grade measurement performance with true on-site usability.
Designed for environmental teams, process operators, safety officers and field technicians, the analyzer logs months of data to its 4 GB non-volatile memory and supports easy data export via USB pen drive. Programmable logging intervals (1 minute to 1 hour) let you capture short-term transient events or long-term trends without constantly babysitting the device. The internal rechargeable battery keeps the unit operational for a full shift (≈8 hours), while the included charger and USB pendrive make field work frictionless.
Calibration is handled in-house using a gas dilution facility and is typically recommended annually, ensuring traceable multi-point accuracy and stable performance over time. At ±1% of full scale accuracy and 0.1–1% resolution (per model), the analyzer balances sensitivity and robustness — giving you actionable readings with minimal false alarms. With a 100 cc/min sample flow and sub-minute T90 response (<60 s), the instrument detects changes quickly enough for leak detection, process control, and regulatory monitoring tasks.
Why buy it: precise NDIR sensing with fast T90, long data retention, simple USB transfer, portable form factor, and practical field battery life. Ideal use cases include leak surveys, landfill & biogas monitoring, process control in industrial plants, and ambient methane trend monitoring.
